The situation
This online publisher was churning out materials for both corporate
training and college courses. They had acquired a lot of print content
and were converting it online. In addition, they were developing
materials for courses in a wide variety of subject areas. But, they
didn’t have the internal team or process to ensure that the
end product was accurate and focused on the key course concepts.
And, some of their acquired materials had a lot of errors.
The process
First, O’Donnell & Associates culled through its database
of over 10,000 subject matter experts, mostly college faculty, many
who also work as trainers and consultants to corporations. Our team
of development editors recruited two experts to review each of our
client’s dozens of products. We used a common set of guidelines,
questionnaires, and tools to ensure that each product was reviewed
and that errors were eliminated.
The results

of products were revised and ready for sale within six weeks.
