Dan Rinn, VP of Alliances and Partnerships for Turning Technologies, the leading education “Learner Response System” provider in the United States, will discuss ResponseWare, a classroom Learner Response tool that records students’ responses to questions and polls in real time.

Scott Perkins, Director of Research at Abilene Christian University, has conducted, published, and presented numerous empirical studies on emotion and psychopathology. He will discuss the use of mobile devices in the classroom and his experiments teaching with mobile phones at ACU.

Alex Bick, a senior at Harvard University and one of the five winners of ATT’s Big Mobile on Campus Contest, will present on the app they designed for the contest, Rover, which connects students with a campus microenvironment through local deals, events, news and transportation.

Jeff Sherwood, CEO of BigWords, a textbook price comparison search engine, will discuss the mobile app by the same name, which aggregates prices of textbooks for students looking to buy and sell.
