SUMMARY
This position is responsible for skills in the areas of web-based markup languages (HTML, XML) with some experience related to multimedia development and graphic design. The Web Content Developer I uses his/her technical skills to build components of web-based learning environments (online courses).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides sound and consistent course building for Educational Partners by converting raw course content into static and/or interactive, web-ready content to be added to the eCollege AU course delivery system
  • Migrates (copy & paste) content from one platform to another using course maps
  • Adds text and images to online courses
  • Develops learning content by possessing fundamental skills related to markup and some scripting languages (HTML, XML, Style Sheets, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Provides excellent customer service internally and externally to non-technical co-workers and customers
  • Other duties as assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociates degree or equivalent experience in related field required. Must have previous experience in a professional environment. Customer service experience is a plus.

  • Advanced understanding and usage of Microsoft Windows and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
